DETAILS
Knock Knock sensor detects knocking on any surface you want. You can teach it any knocking pattern and let players e.g. unlock a hidden passage just by knocking.
Setting your own sequence of knocks is extremely easy. What’s more, there are two knobs to control the sensitivity of the sensor and how accurate the players have to be in recreating the pattern.
You can play strange knocking sounds on the other side of the wall in horror-themed Escape Room and make players recreate that knocking to unlock something.
The Knock Knock sensor can also help you design rhythm-based puzzles where players have to knock to make a short melody.

INSPIRATIONS
You can use Knock Knock sensor for a scary puzzle. Set your own knocking pattern and make players recreate it. With Knock Knock sensor and Magic Mirror output set, which reveals something after a puzzle is solved, spooky atmosphere is guaranteed.

HOW TO SET IT UP

Step 1
Connect the Knock Knock sensor to the Universal puzzle controller via included Ethernet cable. Then, connect the Universal puzzle controller to a power supply.

Step 2
Fix the round part of the sensor to a surface. Remember to place the round part of the sensor in the correct position.

Step 3
Push and hold the teaching button on the sensor. Choose the mode by releasing the button after one or two blinks of the diode.

Step 4
In the first mode (one blink), the sensor listens to your knocking pattern. After you do it, push the teaching button to confirm the pattern. The sensor will play it back to you.

Step 5
Every time you recreate the pattern, the sensor becomes triggered and its red diode lights up. Use the left knob to change the Rejection Level, and the right one for the Sensitivity Level.

Step 6
In the second mode (two blinks), after the sensor detects a knock, it becomes triggered and its red diode lights up for a split second. You can use it as many times as you want.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Most of our sensors don’t require power unless you want an additional power supply for high current – it is needed in extensions. Ethernet cable is included with every sensor – it has to be connected to the Universal puzzle controller to work. Then, connect the Universal to a power supply.

Good sensor, very sensitive.

Is this a stand alone prop or does it need a game controller?
Daniel Stroński –
This is just a sensor and needs to be connected to a universal puzzle controller.
